The Collection

The Fondazione Stauffer possesses instruments of enormous value. Not only for reason of prestige, but also as an investment – certainly non negligible – to help increase its heritage.

The four instruments owned by the Fondazione are on loan on the collection “Gli archi di Palazzo Comunale” in Cremona, one of the most important in existence. They are testimony of the greatest school of luthiers of all time, which was founded in Cremona and evolved there from the first half of the sixteenth century to the first half of the eighteenth.
